Carl graduated from Law School in 2021 and joined the firm where he has continued to focus his practice on plaintiff's personal injury matters.

Carl was born and raised in Hamden, Connecticut. He is a graduate of Notre Dame High School of West Haven and was a member of the Notre Dame Football Team. After graduating from Assumption College in 2013, he began work as a paralegal here at the Law Office of Carl A. Secola Jr. LLC. While a paralegal, Carl worked on a variety of personal injury and medical malpractice files.

Eventually he decided to apply to Law School and in the fall of 2018 began his legal studies at the Quinnipiac University School of Law. While at Law School Carl was a member of the Society for Dispute Resolution Team from 2018 through 2021 and he took part in the ABA Regional Negotiation Competitions in 2018. He was also a member of the Mock Trial Team and competed in the Law School Intramural competition in 2019 reaching the semi-finals. In 2020 he competed in the Hofstra Law National Medical-Legal Mock Trial Tournament.

Carl was also a member of the Quinnipiac University School of Law Moot Court Team and in 2019 made it to the semi-finals in the intramural competition and received the Petitioner’s Best Brief Award. As a member of the Quinnipiac University School of Law Moot Court Team, Carl also competed in the Albany Law Moot Court Competition. As a law student, Carl worked as an intern for the New Haven Corporation Counsel’s Office and in the Veterans Clinic.

Upon graduation Carl received the Superior Classroom Performance Award and The Excellence in Clinical Legal Education Award. Carl is particularly proud of this last award because it relates to the work he did in the Veterans Clinic, assisting Veterans in Federal Court proceedings securing benefits they had been previously denied.

Carl graduated from Law School in 2021 and joined the firm where he has continued to focus his practice on plaintiff’s personal injury matters. Carl enjoys fishing, hiking, golf, softball, jiu-jitsu, and has recently attained his black belt in Karate. He is also a New York Yankees and New York Giants fan.
