Linda consistently provides that personal connection for clients who often just need someone they feel comfortable talking to about their injuries, symptoms, treatment and how it is effecting their life.
Linda was born and raised in New York. She first came to Connecticut to attend college in Hartford. She graduated with a BA in psychology with a concentration in biology from the University of Hartford in 1986. In 1988 Linda and Carl were married and she permanently relocated to Connecticut. After her children went off to college Linda embarked on a new career as a paralegal and office manager at the Law Offices of Carl A. Secola Jr. For the past 13 years Linda in her role as a paralegal has worked on all aspects of the various types of personal injury cases handled by the office, including motor vehicle accidents, fall downs, products liability claims and complicated medical malpractice actions. She regularly interacts directly with our clients, many of whom have relied upon her for help and support throughout the ongoing litigation process. Linda consistently provides that personal connection for clients who often just need someone they feel comfortable talking to about their injuries, symptoms, treatment and how it is effecting their life. She is always available to answer their questions and act as a liaison when Carl Jr. and Carl III are not immediately available. She makes certain that the client’s questions and concerns are conveyed to the lawyers and addressed in a timely and when needed a compassionate fashion. Equally important Linda keeps client files up to date by tracking each client’s progress and making certain we are aware of any new developments and medical treatment. She makes sure the client’s file is current and properly organized.
Linda is an intricate part of the office’s personal injury litigation team. When we go to trial Linda is there in the Court room accompanying our clients. She has also been serving as a consultant during the jury selection process. Even when the two Carl’s are not immediately available Linda is ready to take your calls and see to it that the lawyers are apprised of your inquiries or concerns and she makes certain that all of your questions are answered in a timely and complete fashion.
Linda likes gardening and landscape design. She has a special knack for training dogs. Friends and family members often call her the dog whisperer. She loves spending time with her five-year-old Australian Shepherd Charlotte. Linda enjoys reading a variety of topics including biographies, non-fiction, health and nutrition, dog related materials, gardening, science and seminar and reference materials that help provide an edge in handling our personal injury files. When she is able to find the time, she likes to jog, hike, swim and take part in any low impact conditioning regimen. She likes watching movies, Netflix and HBO series and documentaries and listening to all sorts of music especially the kind you can dance to. She also enjoys experimenting with new cooking recipes on the weekends.
